ñâÿçü ôëîðû Âåëèêîáðèòàíèè ñ ôëîðîé êîíòèíåíòàëüíîé Åâðîïû. Îäíèì èç ïåðâûõ 
èññëåäîâàë çàâèñèìîñòü ôëîðèñòè÷åñêîãî áîãàòñòâà îò ïëîùàäè ìåñòîîáèòàíèÿ.
